Im new in Linux and currently using Mandriva 2008 and Ubuntu 8.04.
We are using Oracle WEB application with Java Applet as form environment.
I have been working with Windows' Internet Explorer and Firefox to load Oracle WEB application and working well. Currently i triy to use Linux to work with application, and have succeed with Firefox and Konqueror in Ubntu and Mandriva. But the performance in Windows is better than Linux, especilly for loading speed performance. In Windows, the browser always download the applet/JAR files for the application ONLY FOR THE FIRST TIME and save them to Oracle JAr Cache folder, but in Linux seemed always download them whenever load the application. I think it is the prblem why the application running slower in Linux rather than in Windows.

- Is it Linux matter? or i dont know yet?
- where is Konqueror/firefox save the Jar File?
- Anybody have save problem like me?

Please help.
