Hello everybody

My doubt is the following one:

I want to implement oracle data guard and the database is in production. So what will be the impact on the production database.

If the Production DB already has archive mode enabled, then no impact to implement Data Guard.

There are a few static parameters (db_unique_name, %_file_name_convert) you should be setting in the primary, but defaults will do until you have an opportunity to re-start it.
